Henry Kolbe   joined Beacon Realty Capital in 2006 and is responsible for originating debt and equity financing for clients ranging from acquisition and development to permanent funding.  While he works with customers who own various types of commercial real estate property, Mr. Kolbe specializes in hotels, manufactured home communities and self-storage properties.

 Before joining Beacon, Mr. Kolbe worked in Chicago’s community banking industry for eight years, with a primary focus on providing acquisition and development financing for commercial construction and land development in the local areas.   

Prior to his banking career, Mr. Kolbe was an analyst/underwriter and loan originator for Chicago-based First Security Commercial Mortgage, where he specialized in self-storage properties.

 Mr. Kolbe received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and completed the entrepreneurial studies program at the University of Illinois Chicago.  He is also a licensed real estate broker in Illinois.
