TONY RAIMONDI joined Beacon Realty Capital as a Senior Vice President in 2003 and has more than 25 years of commercial real estate industry experience, with a primary focus on finance. Since joining Beacon Realty Capital Mr. Raimondi has focused on transactions that require a structured finance solution. Property types involved include apartments, condominiums, flex-space and mixed use properties with a hotel component. These structures have incorporated the use of non-recourse construction and interim first mortgages along with mezzanine and equity components.

Mr. Raimondi began his real estate career in the consulting industry with Larry Smith & Company in 1976. In 1978, he joined Real Estate Research Corporation and was involved in the valuation of the Howard Hughes and John D. MacArthur Estates, Midway Airport and conducted a five-site market analysis for the location of The State of Illinois Office Building (Thompson Center).

He joined The Balcor Company (TBC) in 1979 and helped form its acquisition underwriting group. In 1980, he became head of underwriting and oversaw the group's growth from two professionals to eight before being promoted to Vice President of TBC's Mortgage Group in 1982. From 1982 to 1989, Mr. Raimondi was an integral part of the mortgage group's growth from a $75 million annual mortgage operation to approximately $1 billion in production. While part of TBC's Mortgage Group, Mr. Raimondi specialized in structured finance, originating participating wrap-around loans and first mortgages, joint ventures and A & B loans that combined fixed and floating rate debt.

In 1989, Mr. Raimondi formed Belden Partners, Ltd as an exclusive correspondent for Textron Financial Corporation (TFC). As a correspondent, he originated both floating and fixed rate bridge loans for TFC. Additionally, he wrote position papers for the President of TFC which allowed the company to expand its real estate product focus. During his tenure representing TFC, Belden Partners became TFC's second most profitable origination group.

Mr. Raimondi joined ORIX USA, a $50 billion Japanese credit company, in 1995 as Head of Real Estate Loan Origination for its Midwest Region. While in this capacity, he continued to employ innovative loan structures, resulting in the Midwest Region becoming the leader in new business volume and second in profitability.

Upon leaving ORIX USA, Mr. Raimondi joined AMI Capital Inc. as Midwest Regional Managing Director and focused on originating multi-family loans for the Fannie Mae DUS program and other property types through AMI Capital's capital markets group.

He is a graduate of Indiana University, where he received a B.A. in Finance and Real Estate Administration.
